Disaster Human Services Project

The project is funded by the Department of Health and Family Services to provide training, technical assistance and consultation to county agencies as they prepare for disasters.  The focus of this effort is enhancement of human services preparedness, response and recovery capacity.  The project incorporates an "all hazards" approach addressing planning for weather events, health emergencies or acts of terrorism.  Project staff are available to provide onsite consultation and training to county and private agencies at no charge.
